The Mason City Noon Rotary Club - formally known as the Rotary Club of Mason City, Iowa - was founded July 1, 1916 as a service club with two important missions:
"To provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and pursue world understanding and peace through friendship, fellowship, and service to others."
